Who we are

This Privacy Policy explains how American Snacks (“we,” “us”), Bell Gardens, CA 90201, handles information collected through www.theamericansnacks.com (the “Site”). Questions: office@algdsd.com.

Information we collect

Information you send us. When you use our wholesale form or email us, we receive your name, email, and anything else you choose to include, such as phone number, business name and message.
Analytics data. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views, referring sites, browser and device type, and country. It does not use cookies, does not store anything on your device, and does not track you across other websites.
Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data such as IP address and request time to keep the Site secure and running.

How we use it

To respond to wholesale, distributor and product inquiries.
To understand which pages and products visitors view, in aggregate, so we can improve the Site.
To protect the Site from spam, fraud and abuse.
To comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and analytics

This Site does not use cookies. Our analytics come from Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures visits without cookies, local storage or fingerprinting, and does not track you across sites. Learn more at cloudflare.com/web-analytics (opens in a new tab).

We share information only with service providers that help us run the Site, such as our website host Netlify (which also receives form submissions) and Cloudflare (analytics), and only as needed to provide those services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights.

How long we keep it

We keep inquiry emails and form submissions as long as needed to respond and maintain our business records, generally no longer than three years, unless a longer period is required by law. Analytics data is aggregated and does not identify you.

Your California privacy rights

If you are a California resident, you can ask us to tell you what personal information we have about you, correct it, or delete it. You also have the right not to be discriminated against for using these rights. Email office@algdsd.com with the subject “Privacy request.” We will verify your request and respond within 45 days.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

The Site is served only over encrypted HTTPS. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we use reasonable measures to protect the information we receive.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
